I teach yoga as a practice of connection — to breath, to body, and to the strength within yourself.
After becoming certified at Mind the Mat Pilates & Yoga in Alexandria, Virginia, I founded Anahara Yoga with the intention of creating powerful, intentional classes that challenge both body and mind. My teaching combines vinyasa, power flow, breathwork, and meditation to help students build resilience, presence, and self-trust.
These are not gentle classes — they are strong, energizing, and deeply grounding. My goal is for every student to leave feeling more connected, more capable, and more empowered than when they arrived.
TEACHING STYLE
My practice is rooted in vinyasa flow and power flow, with breathwork and meditation woven throughout. I believe yoga is less about how a pose looks and more about how it feels — how it returns you to yourself.
Expect dynamic sequences, a strong connection to breath, plain-language cues, and plenty of room to make the practice your own. Whether you're new to the mat or have been practicing for years, you are welcome here.
